A cover image is the picture on the card of a note, problem, app or source, and at the top of its page. It is often the first thing readers see, so a clear, well-cropped cover helps your content stand out.
Adding a cover
- Click the Cover Image box in the form. The image dialog opens.
- Bring in a picture: click the upload area and choose a file, drop a file onto the dialog, or paste a copied picture with Ctrl + V.
- Crop it (see below).
- Click Save. The cropped picture appears in the box and is uploaded when you save the form.
Cropping
The crop frame keeps the shape of the cover, so every card looks tidy:
- Drag the corners of the frame to make it larger or smaller; drag inside it to move it.
- Rotate turns the picture by 90 degrees; Reset crop starts again.
- Choose another replaces the picture.
Changing the cover
Click the box again: the current cover opens in the dialog, so you can crop it differently, or paste or choose a new picture. Close the dialog with Cancel or Esc to keep the cover as it was.
No cover?
The cover is optional for notes and problems: if you leave it empty, the first picture in the content is used. Sources without a cover get a picture that matches their kind (book, article ...).
Good covers show one clear idea - a diagram, a structure, a result - with little text. Readers see them small on cards and on phones.
