Hub 4 Mech is a learning hub for engineering mechanics: statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials and the subjects around them. It is written by students and teachers, and every page is connected to the others through topics (tags) and sources. This guide gives you a short tour.
Three kinds of content
Open Notes, Problems or Apps from the header or the Explore menu to browse each kind.
How everything is connected
Notes can also contain problems and apps directly, so you can practise without leaving the page you are reading.
Your first steps
- Search for a topic with the search box at the top. Press Ctrl + K to jump into it from anywhere.
- Open a note and read it. The Table of Contents on the right takes you to each section.
- Try the problems linked to the note and check your answers.
- Create a free account to save favourites, vote, comment, send messages and write your own content.
You do not need an account to read notes, solve problems or run apps. An account is only needed to take part: saving, voting, commenting, messaging and writing.
Where to go next
- Searching and exploring - find exactly what you need.
- Writing with the editor - share your own notes.
- Reputation points - how contributions are rewarded.
