Tags

Tags describe the topics of your content, for example Mechanics of Materials or Hooke's Law. Type them into the tags field of the form; existing tags are suggested while you type.

Good tags
Precise topics: "Shear Stress", "Method of Sections", "Hooke's Law".
Avoid
Very general words ("Engineering"), duplicates and spelling variants.

Readers open a tag to see every note, problem and app about it, together with related tags. Browse them all at Tags.

Sources

  1. In the sources part of the form, add a source.
  2. Choose its kind (book, article, lecture notes, website ...).
  3. Enter title, authors, year and publisher; where possible an ISBN, DOI or URL.
  4. Optionally say where it was used: page, chapter or section.

Every source has its own page listing all content that cites it, and author names lead to all sources of that author. Browse them at Sources.

Citing sources makes your notes more trustworthy and helps readers go deeper.
